TÜV AUSTRIA Akademie | Certified OT Security Manager TÜV® (COSM)

The OT-Security-Management-Training provides plant managers, project and production managers as well as general decision makers with the necessary knowledge to implement security in industrial operations. Participants learn all the necessary skills to recognize dangers at an early stage, to increase the security level and to avoid security weak points in the long term. The focus is on organizational topics and process management, but in addition, technical influencing factors are also addressed to better equip participants for upcoming security decisions.

Erstzertifizierung

The admission requirements for the certification examination are

completed training including examination as "Certified OT Security Practitioner TÜV® (COSP)" or an equivalent course or at least 6 months of relevant professional experience of at least 20h/week

proof of completion of the Certified OT Security Manager TÜV® (COSM) training course at TÜV AUSTRIA Academy or an equivalent course

the application for the certification examination Certified OT Security Manager TÜV® (COSM)

The certification examination takes place on the last day of the seminar and is a

written examination (single choice)

If you pass the certification exam and fulfill all admission requirements, you will receive the TÜV AUSTRIA personal certificate Certified OT Security Manager TÜV® (COSM), which is valid for three years.

Re-Zertifizierung

To extend your certificate for a further three years, you must

proof of subject-specific further training of at least 8 teaching units; alternatively a written examination.
(Further training courses attended within 2 years before and 6 months after expiry of the certification certificate are recognized).

proof of practical experience of at least 2 years of regular, subject-specific activity; alternatively, an expert discussion.
(The practice must take place in the period between certification and recertification, although it does not have to be continuous).
