The ISO 19011 standard represents a comprehensive guideline for the auditing of management systems. This guideline applies to every standard-based management system and is now available in the third revised edition, version ISO 19011:2018. The revised standard is adapted to the recent version of management system standards including the “high-level-structure” and an updated terminology. A substantial content-related modification is the addition of the risk based approach to the audit principles. Hence, opportunities and risks referring to the audit program as well as the entire audit process must be considered.
In this seminar, the content and improvements of the new standard are presented in a practice-oriented way in order to implement the new standard guidelines within the respective area.
