This course provides comprehensive training in the operation, control, and optimization of distillation processes and prepares participants for real-world industrial applications.

The first day focuses on the theoretical fundamentals of distillation and rectification. Participants gain insight into different types of distillation and learn under which conditions rectification is required. Special emphasis is placed on safety measures and the application of HAZOP and LOPA methodologies for process risk assessment.

The second day is dedicated to practical application. Training on a glass pilot plant allows participants to directly observe processes and develop a deeper understanding of physical separation technologies. Participants practice conducting distillation and rectification processes, including proper documentation and sample analysis. This hands-on approach enhances the ability to effectively transfer theoretical knowledge into practical industrial settings.
