The course includes the “Training for internal Quality Auditor Health Care”.

● Introduction & implementation of a Management System ● Development of process cultures ● Process orientation, -structuring and -modelling ● Key figures for planning, controlling and improvement of processes ● Development of QM-documentation ● Quality philosophy and the 7 principles for achieving quality

Module 2 “ISO”: Requirements of management systems, ISO 9001 as example
● Benefits and interpretation of standard requirements ● Current family of standards of ISO 9000:2015 in health care ● Interpretation and application of standard requirements of ISO 9000:2015 in health care ● Knowledge management as standard requirement of ISO 9001 ● Risk based approach

Module 3 “HC”: Specific quality management in health care
● Further norms and standards for QM-systems in health care, ÖNORM EN 15224, interpretation and application ● Certification preparation and -process ● Quality specification and accreditation according to the Joint Commission (JCI) criteria ● Patient related and organizational standards ● Legal compliance and legal aspects

Module 4 “Methods”: Quality management - methods and tools
● Quality methods in health care and service sectors ● Quality within the procurement process ● Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Ishikawa-Diagram for Cause and Effect Analysis ● Benchmarking ● Customer-oriented methods, risk management methods, CIRS

Module 5 “EFQM”: TQM basics and EFQM excellence model
